Finally!! The Naturally over-dyed Babaa sweater, available tomorrow!

Open Studio tomorrow!
The day has come, after weeks of prepping, I am finally opening my doors for the first time. I have been waking up early, working late and don’t have much of a newsletter for you as I’m writing this moments before I need to send it.
I’m not really ready, but maybe there is a beauty in that. I really do love imperfection and you will notice that, some of these special pieces have been mended and therefore have scars on them, just like us. Can we start treating clothing more like humans who need care and grace? Clothing can age like fine wine if you pick the right pieces.
I had considered dropping items to snag through the newsletter, but in the nature of feeling things in person I decided not to do that. You will just have to come see things for yourself. I am the type of person who likes to see a menu online before going out to eat to thoughtfully determine what I will order without overwhelm so that was the main driver in trying to post things for pre-sale, maybe next time. I certainly don’t want to cause a frenzy. You really need to take your time when building a wardrobe that can last.
And if you have been following along, the Babaa sweater I gently over-dyed is ready for viewing. This sweater really hits at what I’m trying to do here. High quality, made to last, just needs tender love and care. Her buttons were re-sewn on and she had a light natural cochineal bath to give her a little kiss of a warmer hue.
Tomorrow the Open Studio is from 10am-6pm. I am not posting my address online so you will have to get it from me directly or from a friend.
